Kitty ear headband D.I.Y.

Cute Kitty ear headband D.I.Y.

you'll need-

faux fur

other fabric that matches

Tape measures

pen

scissors

needle and thread

headband

plastic ( I used a yogurt pot)

glue gun and glue sticks

*ribbon *jump rings*charms *= optional

1, Start by Working out where you are going to put the ears on the head bans.

2, Measures the size of the ears then and draw on to card as a template. Then cut out with scissors.

3, Then use the stencil to cut out ear shapes from faux fur X2.

4, Then repeat the same with the other fabric X2.

5, using the needle and thread to saw the fur and backing fabric together ( make sure when doing this do it inside out). Once sown then turn right side out.

Apologies, I forgot to take a photo of this.

6, Then using the same stencil draw an outline on an old clean yoghurt pot and cut out.

7, Then put the plastic shapes into the fabric ears. I needed trim them till they fit.

8, Then Using the needle and thread sow onto the head band. u can use hot glue gun to help affix it on and even add some matching fabric off cuts to help it look nice.

9, Adding decoration -

A, measures the ribbon, you'll need about 12" per ribbon. Tie a knot onto one of the jump rings then tie into a bow before putting a couple of stitches through the not and around the jump ring to secure it.

B, then using 2 pairs of pliers open the jump ring add the chosen charm and close again. then using some hot glue fix the bow on to the ear and using the needle and thread pop a couple of stitches through the ear fabric to secure it prperly then tie off.

C, repeat again to make a matching ribbon for the other ear.

I hope you enjoy this tutorial and have fun making your own cute ears.

please share with me if you do. Thank you Amy XOXO
