This is how i made my sons Crocodiles plushy into an Alligator loki.

You will need -
Paper to make a pattern
pen
scissors
cotton
Yellow felt
tape measure
Dressmakers pins
1, I made a template -
Using the tape measure find out the size for the top of the Crocodiles/ Alligator plushy head (I found that a jam jar lid was just about perfect.
I then drew an extra circle around it ( I found a cello-tape was a perfect circle.)
I then measured the circumference of the jam jar lid and used that to make a strip to act as the hat brim.
2, Cut out the paper template and use that to draw on the Yellow felt and cut out.
3, Once cut out, Using Dress makers pins, pin the felt together and a just if needed.
4, I started by sowing the crown on to the edge. Then folding the edge up and sowing that as well so as to make it thicker.
5, Then make the horns. This is quite fiddly but worth it.
I suggest Sowing the sides (Leaving the cotton still attached to give you more flexibility before) Turn them inside out, Then stuffing with some cotton wool or scrap felt and then tigh off the cotton and cut so the thread.
6, Using Dress makers pins, Pin the horns in place ( re positioning them till your happy)
Then sow on to the crown. I find it best to sow from the inside, flipping over to make sure its neat and tie off in side as well.
7, position the Crown on to the Crocodiles/ Alligator head. ( As you can see I had to fold the back of the crown under so it would sit comfortably.)
When your happy Sow in to position. Ta-Da your finished.

Here is a picture of the finished Alligator Loki being hugged by my son.
My boys have requested a Throg AKA Frog Thor .
So watch this space lol
Enjoy XOXO
